Journaling: There were so many places to take pictures at the Horton Grand Hotel. One of the reasons we decided to get ready there was to take pictures on the original Victorian staircase. We even chose a room that overlooked the courtyard so I could get pictures on the balcony. While I was taking pictures out on the balcony, the photographer was trying to change lenses and actually dropped one off the balcony. It was one of those slow motion moments and thankfully he had other lenses.
While I was taking my bridal portraits my girls had to stand to the side. Every single time they would say things to make me laugh. It wasn't until we were taking some of the last pictures in the courtyard that all of a sudden Taline and I noticed I didn't have my veil on yet! One of my favorite parts about taking pictures at the hotel happened when we were walking around and the guests would stop and stare and ooh and ah. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the moments. Every thing went by so quickly and when we were all done we sat in the room and snacked on the granola bars my mom packed us.
